This painting was a bit of a struggle (note the turbulence, I guess I can’t hide it). I feel like we finally turned a corner and became friends again. I am finding it amazing how hard it is to shift my color palette away from what I’ve always used, but in this case, I think it was a success.
I feel like this is the painting you sit with when you’ve had not-the-best day. You might be dark, but you can embrace your darkness, ride the wave and rise up into the light.
